Our Calling

In a fast-moving world, our existence answers a fundamental question: how can historical heritage be transformed into a living engine for social regeneration?

By restoring and reactivating iconic spaces, Concetto O turns the Olivetti legacy into a laboratory of hospitality and future-oriented thinking.

We bring these architectures back to life by encouraging new forms of temporary living, creating a network of cultural exchange that makes the territory a living model of social innovation.

Our purpose is to inhabit culture: to turn the act of staying into an experience of conscious, active citizenship, while honouring the legacy of those who imagined these spaces before us.

We believe that places are not mere containers, but generators of ideas and relationships.

This is why Concetto O was not created simply to offer accommodation, but to demonstrate that beauty and culture can be made truly accessible.

We aim to create a form of hospitality that does more than preserve the memory of Olivetti architecture, it reactivates it.

We want every guest to become part of a shared narrative..

This is the Force That Connects Our Two Horizons:

FromRoots, we embrace the ethical legacy of an enterprise that took responsibility for the well-being of its territory.

TowardsVision, we project these values into the future, transforming spaces into open, welcoming places.

The Origin of Our Calling

The idea of calling that guides Concetto O is deeply rooted in the thought of Adriano Olivetti.

In one of his speeches to workers, Olivetti stated that a company could not limit itself to production or profit, but had to recognise a broader responsibility: contributing to the human, cultural and social development of the community in which it operated.

For Olivetti, a calling was not an abstract concept, but a daily practice: work as an expression of meaning, architecture as a tool for well-being, organisation as an ethical act. A company was meant to serve people and the territory, not exploit them.

Concetto O is born from this legacy. We embrace the idea that a space can have a calling: not only to host, but to care; not only to welcome those passing through, but to generate a sense of belonging.

It is within this continuity that the visitor becomes part of a collective narrative — transforming from a temporary guest into an active member of a living community.
