Roots
The idea was born from the encounter of different generations.The stories of grandparents who worked in the Olivetti factories, the stories of parents who benefited from a socially innovative company, and finally, those who have never experienced this world firsthand.
A story whose memory survives, and it is from the recollections of those who lived it that we set out to create a concept, an experience, allowing memory to exist and evolve.
Logo Concept – “Concetto O”
The Concetto O logo represents the meeting of design, architecture, hospitality, and Olivetti culture within an open and ever-evolving system.
Meaning of the Name
“Concetto"evokes ideas, design thinking, and design as culture.
“O"is a powerful symbol, open to multiple interpretations:
– Olivetti, representing a sense of shared, connected welcome.
– Hospitality=Ospitalità, representing a sense of shared, connected welcome.
– Roots=Origine, because every space carries a story waiting to be told.
– Object, a nod to design itself, from the typewriter to the timeless icons of the Olivetti world.
Vision
Our goal is to bring new life to two iconic locations in the rationalist architecture landscape.
Spaces designed for the community, combining design and functionality.
Over the years, these spaces have become part of the everyday landscape for the people of Ivrea (Eporediesi), so familiar that they almost go unnoticed.
Yet, seeing the wonder of those discovering them for the first time, we realized the immeasurable value we had in our hands.
Giving the public the opportunity to experience and immerse themselves in these spaces is our goal, our Horizon.
